After passing the 12th class, is ACCA a good option?

I would advise you to take both   B.Com   (Full time) from a normal college & ACCA. As ACCA is recognized only when you complete all the 14 papers & also have three years of working experience.   B.Com  is a time bound degree. Even if you study averagely you will pass  B.Com  in three years. But ACCA requires hard work. So plan to do 4 ACCA papers in a year. Thereby completing ACCA in 14/4 = 3.5 years. But its not so easy to clear in 3.5 years, it may take even 3.5 - 4.5 years. So if you pursue ACCA alone you will geta job in 3.5 - 4.5 years. But if you have B.Com+ACCA you could go to a job at the third year after completeing  B.Com  & thereafter you would be mostly left out 4 subjects in ACCA, which you could go for work & study too. So inorder to be on the safe side do both B.Com+ACCA Note: This is a genral advice. Consult a professor or educated elder before making your choice. Which is easier, the Indian CA or the ACCA?

CA has to be done groupwise. ACCA has to be done paperwise. Passing paperwise is easy when compared to passing groupwise. That too grouping papers does not have any usefulness. I'm not sure why CA does it. Even the subjects in each group are not inter related. CA has about 16 papers approximately. CA has about 14 papers currently. CA Pass percentage is 1%-10% yearly. ACCA Pass percentage is 30% yearly, approximately There are many quality coaching centre for CA. Coaching center are just now poping out for ACCA. Even when you complete CA inter you will get job in India. You have to complete ACCA fully to get job in India. For every 10 CA jobs you will get 1 ACCA job in India. Approximately. Search in naukri to know more. CA has recognition in India and Middle east. CA has recognition in all British colonies and has mutual recognition with few countries. This is a comparative analysis. As for which is the easiest.... Both requires cons

Which author's book should I buy for ACCA?

There are three books which are approved by the ACCA. 1. BPP 2. Kaplan 3.Becker Each book has its own differences. BPP BPP text books are really detailed & in depth. You might sometimes study things which might not be tested. But if you want to know the real subject then you should go for BPP. Kaplan Kaplan Text Books are also lengthy that's because they have bigger font & hugh line spacing :). So don't be fooled if they have 400-700 pages. They are easy to study but don't expect questions as easy as given in Kaplan text books. Becker: I am unable to comment on Becker, as I have not used it Verdict: For F1 to F3.  I would suggest you study from  Kaplan,  as its easy & student friendly. Beyond F5 ,  Go for  BPP . Spent time to understand the subject. But do download the past exam papers available on ACCA website and also buy BPP revision kit. Follow me on  http://www.wowacademics.com/ https://www.quora.c

Should I study ACCA after doing B.Com or along with B.Com?

Benefits of doing ACCA along with  B.com It takes an average of 3–4 years to complete all ACCA papers. Hence if you start studying for ACCA from first year of BCom, then you cam complete ACCA after one year of completing BCom. Your only job might be to study while you are in college, hence you could fully concentrate on your studies alone. Its very easy to clear BCom, so dont waste time by lying to yourself that you are studying BCom. Enroll for ACCA. You can try in BCom itself, if ACCA suits you. If you feel its too tough or boring. You can quit & try something else like marketing, government exams, IAS or go for a job etc. Once you complete all the papers, you can go for a full time job & then submit experience (PER) for three years . You will become ACCA then only. Benefits of doing ACCA after  B.com Its not that easy to clear ACCA, as its a professional course, so put in your hard work. You have to sacrifice your play time. There is an option i

Greetings from WoW Academics, Chennai, ( ACCA Coaching in Chennai ) There are a few rules for Good ACCA coaching institute. Revision Sessions: Equal importance should be given to both teaching the subject & revising the subject. At Least 3 days revision should be given. 4.
